There are a few different options for generating output files when using Analyst® reporter, including Word, PDF, HTML, and Excel. Sometimes the report output in the Excel CSV format does not contain a value in every cell due to the way the query or the report template was set up. When the CSV report file with blank cells is read by an LIS system, the LIS system may stall and may not read past the empty cell, resulting in incomplete information being read into the LIS. To ensure that the LIS reads the whole output file, each cell in the CSV file must contain a value of some kind. The query or the report template must be adjusted so that all columns in the CSV report contain data.
