To enable or disable the data file checksum feature in SCIEX OS software, follow these steps:

1. Open the Configuration workspace in SCIEX OS software.
2. Select the Projects tab.
3. Under Data File Security, select the check box for Enable checksum writing for wiff data creation to enable the checksum feature.
4. To disable the feature, clear this check box.
