How to Extract Multiple XICs in Separate Windows in Analyst® Software Explore Mode

Sometimes in the Analyst® software Explore mode, it's optimal to view individual extracted ion chromatograms (XICs) in separate panes instead of in the same windows when extracting multiple ions from a total ion chromatogram (TIC). This would allow the user to more easily check the shape of individual extracted peaks, for example. To prevent multiple XICs from overlaying in the same window, the Appearance Option settings in Analyst software will need to be adjusted.

Navigate to the Tools menu in Analyst software, and select Settings, and then select Appearance options. In the Appearance Options screen, select Multiple Graph Options. Under the Chromatogram options, set the Overlay Multiple Panes field to No.
