Answer

The two new software tiles in the OneOmics™ suite are shown in the image below in green and purple - the Ion Library app and the DIA Results app. These apps are used to process data-independent acquisition (DIA) data acquired by the ZenoTOF 7600 system, along with the DIA-NN software module that is embedded in the OneOmics suite. DIA-NN is a powerful software tool for processing DIA proteomics datasets and was created by the Demichev, Ralser and Lilley labs (https://github.com/vdemichev/DiaNN). DIA-NN uses neural networks and other algorithms to identify and quantify peptides and proteins from DIA data and is specifically optimized for fast chromatography.

The steps for processing DIA data sets with DIA-NN software are listed here and illustrated in the above image:

  1. Data-dependent acquisition (DDA), also known as information-dependent acquisition (IDA) data files are processed using the green Ion Library app to create an ion library.
  2. The ion library is then used to process SWATH/DIA data in DIA-NN software.
  3. DIA-NN results file are uploaded to the OneOmics suite for visualization and interpretation in the purple  DIA Results app.
Steps 1 and 2 are  described in more details here: https://community.sciex.com/2022/04/29/processing-zenotof-7600-system-data-with-dia-nn-software/

Step 3 is described here: https://community.sciex.com/2022/09/22/new-features-in-oneomics-suite/

The latest DIA-NN software version 1.8.1 can be downloaded here as standalone: https://github.com/vdemichev/DiaNN/releases/tag/1.8.1
