Can the New Dry Pump MSR 90 for the 6500+ System Be Installed with Analyst® Software?

Answer

The new Dry Pump MSR 90 can only be operated with SCIEX OS software on the 6500+ system. It is not compatible with the Analyst® software for data acquisition. The Dry Pump MSR 90 is only compatible with the 6500+ and 7500 systems and SCIEX OS software.

The upgrade to a Dry Pump MSR 90 requires a firmware upgrade, which will be available with the release of the next version of SCIEX OS software after version 3.1.6.
