Updating the Sample Information Column in MultiQuant™ Software Results Table

Issue Description

When typing in additional information to the Sample Name column in a MultiQuant™ software results table, MultiQuant won't allow the new information to be added.



 

Resolution

The MultiQuant Software Reference Guide, page 39 indicates that the Sample Name and Sample ID columns cannot contain the following characters: \ / : * ? " < > | = or . . The semicolon and dash are allowable characters. To add a date, for example, use dashes to separate the numbers, instead of slashes (i.e., enter May 4, 1980 as 5-4-80).
