Printing sample information in SCIEX OS software creates an audit trail event

In Explore mode, SCIEX OS software allows users to display and print sample information for a data set. In previous versions, printing the sample information was not recorded in the audit trail. Now, with SCIEX OS software 3.4, an event is created in the audit trail record, allowing users to track the output of these records.

1. Open a data file in Explore mode, and in the Show menu, select Sample Information.
2. Highlight the Sample Information window by clicking inside the pane.
3. In the File menu, select Print – Print Pane.
4. If prompted, provide an e-signature and accept the changes.
5. Locate the Audit Trail module. The record will display the print event and details; users can track the time and date each time the Sample Information screen is printed in Explore mode.
