How can I restrict permissions for reporter templates?

If you restrict the permissions too much you can't generate reports anymore and an error message will pop-up:

Therefore in <Properties> (right mouse click on the file or folder in Windows explorer) the attributes of the reporter folder and the templates should not be changed and should by default look like this:

 
But, also in <Properties> you can change for each template in <Security> the permissions for the users you want to restrict by setting 'write' to 'deny':

With this setting the template can be opened, but not changed (a change will needed to be ‘saved as’) and the report is generated.
